Thank you to everyone who answered one of our surveys this year! We asked questions about our organization and specific services, and got loads of great suggestions on how we can better serve our community. This time around, we focused on how we could improve our pharmacy service, one of the most important programs we provide.

Here are the changes we made based on your feedback:

One of the most common suggestions we received from you was to expand our pharmacy service hours. We listened and have added an extra pharmacy day— instead of just Tuesdays and Thursdays, you can now come get your medication on Wednesdays from 11am-2pm. This extra time is making wait times on our other two days shorter as well.

In addition to adding these new hours, we’ve made two other changes to our pharmacy services to better serve our community:

To make getting meds easier for our Spanish-speaking clients, we are partnering with High Country Community Health to offer Spanish translation at our front desk every Thursday from 11-2. The HCCH team will be available to help answer questions, fill out forms, and make sure our Spanish-speaking community gets the same level of friendly support when visiting us.

For clients without cars or difficulty getting to us during our pharmacy hours, mail prescription delivery is now available. Sign up by calling our pharmacy, filling out our enrollment form, and get your prescriptions shipped straight to your door! Talk to our pharmacy team today to sign up and get your questions answered!

Thank you so much for using the Hunger and Health Coalition’s services.

The whole reason we exist is to make it easier to get food and medicine in the High Country for as many people as possible. No matter if you need our help every month or just for a while to get by, we are here for you, your friends, and your family. It’s part of our community looking out for one another, and we are glad you are part of it.

Look out for more surveys, and feel free to drop us a note at the front desk with any questions, comments, or suggestions on how we can keep improving. Have a great day, and see you at the Hunger and Health Coalition soon!
